The Dolomiti Garda Cycling tour – “DoGa” is the best way to discover the Brenta Dolomites,the Sarca Valley and Lake Garda.<\/p>\n

A cycle-tour experience suitable for cycle-tourists who like to enjoy places with unique landscapes, far from traffic. The tour is also ideal for photography enthusiasts and is designed with ad-hoc stops for both rest and photo sessions.<\/p>\n

The tour, accompanied by photo-journalist and professional mountain-bike guide Mirko Sotgiu, lasts four days and starts in the Val di Sole in Mezzana (Trento) and covers a distance of just over 100km along traffic-free and forestry roads to Lake Garda. The starting point can also be reached by train.<\/p>\n

Divided into three stages, the tour allows you to visit historical places (such as Castel Stenico and Castel Tenno) and places of natural interest: the Vallesinella waterfalls in Madonna di Campiglio, the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park, the peat bogs of Fiav\u00e9 and Lake Garda.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the support of pedal-assisted bicycles (eBikes), it is possible to cover the entire tour even if you are not an experienced cyclist. A tour suitable for all cycling and photography enthusiasts. Return to the starting point in a private van.<\/p>\n

Day 1\u00a0 <\/strong>Arrival in Mezzana by 17:00.<\/p>\n

Presentation of the tour, collection of ebike and briefing on equipment and route.
\nMezzana can be reached by FTM railway from Trento.<\/p>\n

Free dinner and overnight stay in Mezzana<\/p>\n

Day 2\u00a0<\/strong> VAL DI SOLE MEZZANA\/VAL RENDENA\/VAL DI GENOVA
\nHeight difference: +970m -675m Development: 30Km. Travelling time: 4h. (Without stops)<\/p>\n

Departure from the Mezzana station with the handover of the bikes. The first part of the route follows the river Noce, known throughout Europe as the best for rafting. Once in Almazzago, the ascent to the Passo Carlo Magno begins along roads with little traffic and dirt tracks. From the pass, you begin to admire the landscapes of the Brenta Dolomites. We cross the wonderful forests of the Adamello Brenta Park and then descend to Pra della Casa to enjoy typical Trentino dishes. A visit to the suggestive Vallesinella waterfalls cannot be missed. In the afternoon, arrival at the hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 3<\/strong>\u00a0 VAL RENDENA\/VALLI GIUDICARIE
\nHeight difference: +350m \/ -650m. Development: 46Km. Travelling time: 5h. (Without stops)<\/p>\n

After breakfast departure along the Sarca river to discover the small alpine villages of Val Rendena. Along the way diversions to the Nardis waterfalls and the Sarca torrent rapids. Descending into Val Rendena we arrive in Tione and continue to visit Stenico Castle. Packed lunch. Arrival in Comano Terme.<\/p>\n

Day 4<\/strong>\u00a0 VALLI GIUDICARIE\/RIVA DEL GARDA
\nHeight difference: +438 \/ -1020m. Development: 38km. Travel time: 4h. (Without stops)<\/p>\n

The last part of the tour takes us towards Lake Garda. Between deep gorges carved out by the Sarca river and the famous peat bogs of Fiav\u00e9 we will pass the Ballino pass and then descend towards Tenno. We will visit the medieval village of Tenno and stop for lunch at the pretty lake of the same name. Lunch in Tenno. Descending in the early afternoon we will reach Riva del Garda overlooking the lake of the same name and visit part of the famous “Ponale” and then return to the village.<\/p>\n

Day 5<\/strong><\/p>\n

Time to visit the famous Ponale in case of delay on the 4th day. Visit to the town of Riva del Garda. Free Lunch. Return of the participants\u00a0 by minivan to Mezzana in early afternoon.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT NOTE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mezzana (TN) is easily reached from Trento by FTM train. The tour ends in Riva del Garda with return by private van to Mezzana. The tour duration is calculated without photo stops. Luggage must be brought along (rucksack).<\/p>\n

Before departure, the guide will contact all participants with useful information about the trip and the necessary equipment.
\nThe programme may be changed at the guide’s discretion depending on weather conditions and the technical level of the participants.
\nIn the event of changes to the programme, for reasons beyond the guide’s control, any additional costs will be divided among the participants.<\/p>\n
