From Courmayeur to Chamonix on the Mont Blanc glaciers
The descent of the Vallée Blanche, in the hearth of Mont Blanc group, is the most iconic
off-piste ski trail in the Alps: 22 km of descent to Chamonix, World Capital of “Mountaineering”, along the majestic route of the Mer de Glace glacier, between immense perennial snows and mythical granite walls.
A spectacular itinerary not to be missed.
Within everyone’s reach, ideal for those who try off-piste skiing for the first time.
You can book individually or for a private group (maximum 6 people) with minimum notice, to offer the best possibility of evaluating weather and snow conditions.
Possibility of overnight stay, the night before, at Torino Refuge (3375 m.), to live a full mountain experience. Or in Courmayeur, to indulge in the pleasure of an afternoon at the Spa and an evening of leisure in this beautiful and charming village.
Program
Free ride experience during the day, very popular, ideal period from January to March, depending on the snow conditions.
Recommended on weekdays to avoid crowding and fully enjoy the experience.
8:30 a.m. meeting with the Alpine Guide at the departure station of the Skyway – Mont Blanc (Courmayeur / Entreves, Mont Blanc motorway exit).
After safety briefing and material check, ascent with cable car to Punta Helbronner (3462m.), short break in the arrival station to admire the fantastic view of the Mont Blanc group. Start of the spectacular descent of the “Vallée” to Chamonix, between the crevasses of the Mer de Glace and under the walls of the Dente del Gigante and the Aiguilles de Chamonix. Packed lunch on the way down.
With normal snow conditions, you can reach Chamonix on skis; otherwise, you can ski to Montenvers and reach Chamonix with the cogwheel train.
Return to Courmayeur by bus or taxi (definitely recommended for groups over 3 people).
General information:
Difficulty: from EASY to MEDIUM (depending on snow conditions).
Effort: medium (6 hours of skiing).
Clothing: provide heavy clothing, small backpack (30 liters). In any case, the mountain guide will contact all participants for detailed information.

Min.2 Max. 6 participants. Single person via private negotiation.
Important Note:
Mandatory personal safety equipment (harness with lanyard and carabiner, ARTVA, shovel and probe) can be made available free of charge by the mountain guide.
Packed lunch not included.
Before departure, the mountain guide contacts all participants for useful information for the trip and for the necessary equipment.
The program may undergo variations at the unquestionable judgment of the mountain guide based on weather conditions, snow and the technical level of the participants.
In case of modification of the program, for reasons not dependent on the will of the mountain guide, any additional costs will be divided among the participants.

RESERVATIONS AND PENALITIES POLICY:
• Booking allowed in any week-day of suggested period, subject to confirmation of availability of the Alpine Guide and safe snow conditions, with reservations closing and confirmation 5 days before requested date.
• In the event of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions or force majeure, the entire participation fee will be refunded.
• Penalty: 100% of the participation fee for cancellations from 4 days before departure.
